Ex to Ex-. Cover look. Parlophone SPMCQ 31515. Italy.   Sorry but no refunding for non-insured records.

Records from DR Diskoteket are from the very high quality second archive that were sold from Denmarks Radio (DR) in the late 80’s. Their archive were stored in Aarhus Denmark and were not in use and stored for securityreasons. If one record from their headquarter in Copenhagen somehow would be lost or destroied they were able to get another from the archive. Some of the records says 3 ex. This means that 3 lp’s/Singels of were stored.

 

In the late I knew the store that bourght all the archive many thousands records. And I bourght all I could then. Well sa a University student it was not very many. Some years later I heard that the rest of the records were sold at a fair in Skagen and some Norwegian bourght the rest.

 

Many of my recordcollecting friends wonderd about where these records went. Well this summer I saw an advert and some records were to be sold and from the picture I saw the mard DR diskoteket. I phoned the guy who told me the rest of the story.

 

It was the same guy who bourght the rest archive in the early 1990. He then all the years digitally recorded the ones he wanted. Now they had been stored in his attic for several years.

 

Now they are up for sale again. The rest mostley consist of  soul and funk records. I am more into the progressive stuff.

 

They all are high quality records Mint or Mint- (some Ex too) Some has small writing on the back of the covers. I have tried to make fotos of both sides so you can see for yourself.

 

DON’T REMOVE THE STICKERS THEY ARE PART OF THE HISTORY OF THE RECORDS AND ARE A QUALITY STAMP. NORMALLY THE RADIO GOT THE RECORDS FIRST AND NEARLY ALL ARE A1/B1 PRESS.

 

 

 

Now the bad news. From Norway is postage terribly expensensive.

 

 They now wants more due to size nok 85,- .
