ROISIN DUBH - Same ( Cetra Lpx 64, Italy 1978 )

Here we have the rare 1st album from Irish born Italian female vocalist Kay McCarthy and her Italian band at this time. Their reportoire ranges from traditional tunes and melodies and songs written by Kay or their band. Her beautiful voice give this record in some way a great haunting feeling - also the band plays very inventive on several instruments like violins mandolines guitars flutes bodhran.....A very hard to find and recommeded LP - a few years later she recorded their "magnum opus" Stormy Lullabye (also a nearly impossible to find album).

Thegatefold cover is in top mint minus (m-) condition

The record is in a top excellent plus(ex+) condition, showing several paperscuffs (from giving the record outside the cover - I think) - here and there some very soft surface cracklings in the background only
