Description
Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner and came directly from the pressing plant, record company warehouse, other label reps or record store unless otherwise noted.
Grading is based on visual inspection.
Album ships in a 2 MIL poly cover sleeve.
I package records outside the cover to avoid seam splits.
- This band with roots in San Francisco and Seattle didn't quite catch the same wave as the other bands from the 1968 Summer Of Love but had a significant following in the 11 Western states.
- The Seller says this was one of the biggest selling records in his store in 1969-70. In-store play, word-of-mouth and "underground" FM radio made "White Bird" a huge regional hit.
- An added bit of trivia: The album cover is #24 on Rolling Stone's list of the 100 greatest album covers.
- This copy has one spindle mark and the playing surfaces are clean.
- This is a second pressing.
- The paper on board gatefold cover has tight seams and a stiff spine and shows no wear.
- The plain white inner sleeve has yellowed with age. I have included a soft plastic inner sleeve.
- This was the Seller's second or third copy that he apparently played at least once and then put it in storage for the last 46 years.
