Kenny Dixon Jr, Detroit's other Soul standard bearer, has the honour of releasing these twelve archival productions from the near-sacred cache of James Yancey aka J Dilla (RIP). 'Dillatroit' comprises ten tracks already featured on the recently released 'Rebirth Of Detroit' compilation, plus 'Birthright' from the complementary 10", each pairing up the cream of Detroit's rap talent with some killer Dilla beats. But for the heads there's one bonus cu that we can't find on any other release - a smoky, lowlit soul bumper named 'Possible', and most definitely the reason you'll be forking out for this fine LP, even if you already got the other!
