Description
PLEASE REVIEW ALL PHOTOS AND READ THE ENTIRE ITEM DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY AS THERE IS A LOT TO DESCRIBE!!
PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS A BLACK SPOT THAT WAS "BAKED INTO" THE VINYL. IT IS NOT ON THE SURFACE AND IS NON-FEELABLE AND CERTAINLY HAS NO AFFECT ON PLAY. (please see pics)
PLEASE NOTE: AS A SUPER EXTRA BOUNS, I AM INCLUDING THE ORIGINAL SALES RECEIPT FROM THE J.C.PENNEY Department Store dated March 19, 1974. Or, as we call it here in Chicago, "PENNEY'S". The receipt has crumples and a few small tears.
Up for sale is one(1) The J. Geils Band - Bloodshot LP from 1973 on Atlantic Records (#sd 7260).
This is a First Pressing on RED VINYL still in the Original Shrink Wrap with the Original Hype Sticker.
First pressing as indicated by having the original 1841 Broadway New York, N.Y. address on the labels.
PLAY TESTED! I RECENTLY PLAYED THIS LP AND IT SOUNDS AWESOME! But you may hear surface noise typical with a Very Good+ grading.
The Vinyl is in Very Good+ condition, but has typical wear with age that will cause surface noise typical with a Very Good+ grading. Even with a Very Good+ grading there is going to be a certain amount of surface noise. More noticeable during the quiet parts.
Nice, clean labels with some spindle marks.
The cover is still in the original shrink wrap and is in Very Good+ condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings / soft corners, creases, crumples, ring wear, dings, etc... There are no split seams.
The shrink wrap is in very good+ condition. There are a few scrapes, small tears in the skrink wrap and the corners have poked through the shrink wrap, all of which are typical with age. (please see pics)
The original price sticker is still affixed directly to the front of the shrink wrap and may come off with some elbow grease, but I'm leaving it as-is.
The Hype Sticker is in Very Good+ condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to fading, scrapes, etc...
The original custom inner sleeve is a plain black inner sleeve and is in Very Good+ condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings, creases, crumples, ring wear, dings, etc... There is a small split seam on 1 side. (please see pics)
The LP is now in a plain inner sleeve.
I obtained this LP in 1974. It was gently played back in the day. Not played in many years.
I am thinning out my vinyl collection. This is the actual item you will receive. See the photos and judge for yourself.
