J R R TOLKIEN – NICOL WILLIAMSON – THE HOBBIT – 4LP BOX – SUPERB CONDITION EX+++
Original 1974 UK release on Decca ARGO label ZPL 1196/7/8/9. Super glossy vinyl, pretty much spotless, look as if they’ve never been played.
Run-ins almost silent, very clear, bits I tried had no background – sounds amazing.
Original Decca blue printed inners also in as-new condition. Four fold booklet very clean. Box shows very slight signs of shelf-life and handling, but really, it’s also in excellent condition. Hinged lid still very strong. Inside is what I assume is an original piece of flat foam in the bottom to ensure no rattling around.
I don’t think you’ll find a better set.
