25 discs in all. Volumes 1-3 are green label, Volumes 4-7 are purple label, Volume 8 is blue label. These box sets were purchased as a complete set as indicated by the table of contents booklet that is one of the two booklets included with Volume 8. Each volume includes a booklet. All records are in their original inner sleeves. All inner sleeves are intact.
All vinyl is clean, glossy and pristine. As indicated by the stiffness of the hinges and the lack of ring wear, edge wear, shelf wear, intact corners, etc., this complete set has not been handled much. The only discs showing any sign of play are Volume 1, Disc 1, with 3 light spindle trails, and Volume 2, Disc 3, with 1 light spindle trail. Most of these discs have been played infrequently or more likely, not at all.
The main reason why the boxes don't grade as high as the vinyl is dust having impregnated the glossy coating, in particular, along the top edge of each box, although this problem also occurs on some other surfaces. In short, the boxes deteriorated just by sitting on the shelf, although no sun or water damage. The boxes are now housed in box set outer sleeves from Bags Unlimited. The records will ship apart from the boxes and the original inner sleeves in new Disckeeper inner sleeves.
