Description

Here is a set of the sublime Suites for Solo Cello by J. S. Bach, played by the amazing Janos Starker on the Mercury label. The set consists of 3 LP 12" disks. This is the Red Label MONO version, but it's solo cello, and mono gives a solid focus to the sound. I bought this set new many years ago, and have played the disks very few times. I am fanatically careful with my records, so these are in near-mint condition.

The cover is in fairly good shape. It has two small holes visable in the picture in the upper left side, and there is a bit of wear on the spine- not too much, though, and less than that seen on a similar set that sold on Ebay recently. There is a name written in small letters (mine) on the inside front cover.

There is an explanitory insert inside, which, although there is a small amount of underlining, is still in crisp condition.

Mr. Starker's playing has to be heard to be believed.

And Yes, these discs are in super clean condition; no scratches, spots, mold, mildew, smells, etc. As mentioned above, the box cover is in good condition and it, too, has no spots, mold, mildew, or smells.
