M = Mint: Never played and perfect in every way. Like new. May be sealed in jacket.
NM = Near Mint: Nearly perfect with no signs of any defects or wear whatsoever.
VG++ = Very Good Plus Plus. Almost in near mint condition with only minor evidence of
minute imperfections that do not in any way affect the sound quality.
VG+ = Very Good Plus (Excellent): Shows some visual signs of being played with minor wear or very light scratches or scuffs. Defects do not affect listening quality.
VG = Very Good: Visual signs of being played are more pronounced than VG+. There
could be some minor surface noise or the odd light click from scratches.
G = Good: Significant surface noise and scratches but will still play without skipping.
OUTER JACKET GRADING ABBREVIATIONS:
M = Mint: No defects whatsoever. Like new.
NM = Near Mint: Nearly perfect with no creases, folds, holes or wear.
VG+ = Very Good Plus: Slight ring wear and maybe the odd turned up corner or
slight splitting at a seam but very clean overall.
VG = Very Good: Visual signs of wear and tear are more pronounced than VG+. There
could be pronounced seam splits and/or possibly slight soiling.
G = Good: Significant seam splits, cuts, holes, ring wear, tape, writing and/or soiling.
