Description
Massive northern soul 45 rpm single featuring JACK MONTGOMERY on the SCEPTER label, from 1966. Titles are “Dearly Beloved” and “Do You Believe It.”
White label promo copy, catalog number is 47-8907.
Condition is NEAR MINT. Displays full brilliant original gloss, has a couple very faint slide marks that do not sound, otherwise no marks or blemishes. Plays beautifully with superb fidelity.
Labels are clean and pristine, except the “A” side has a small “X” in pen to indicate plug side for airplay.
Guaranteed to be authentic and original. Comes with original Scepter Records vintage paper sleeve in excellent condition.
I have provided a sound clip with approximately the first minute of “Dearly Beloved” so that you can hear how it plays. I do not use any noise reduction software in my sound clips, and I would absolutely never buff or polish a record for cosmetic purposes, so you needn’t worry about any surprises.
This is a scarce record which will make a fine addition to a deejay’s playlist or a private collector’s northern soul collection.
