RARE radio transcription “gift” album from the May 14, 1939 broadcast of the Screen Guild Show: presented by Gulf Oil Corp. and produced by Young & Rubicam. Betty Jane Rhodes sings "And The Angels Sing" and "What Is There to Say;" Oscar Bradley plays a medley from Bing Crosby's film, "East Side of Heaven." Comedy from Colonna, Auer, Oakie and Billie Burke, who the announcer says "has just finished making THE WIZARD OF OZ." Complete show on three dark BLUE WAX 12” 78s! E condition, plays very well. Some wear to album, mainly along edges, spine missing. Inner sleeves are tattered. Check my other auctions for more nice condition personality & dance band 78s!
