Description
A great opportunity to buy a copy of a RARE 7 inch VINYL E.P. from the 1950's by Jack Scott called "My True Love", with 3 other tracks:- "Goodbye Baby", "With Your Love" and "Leroy".
This is a U.K. pressing released in April 1959 on the London label (RE-L 1205)(tri-centre pressing).
The vinyl is in a VERY GOOD condition. I always examine and grade records under a bright table lamp and there are many light surface marks noticeable, but nothing serious. I have played both sides and they play fine and sound great.
The labels are clean and free from any writing, stickers or major defects.
The matrix numbers are EPMCA-40538-1C (side one) and EPMCA-40539-1C (side two).
The record is housed within a laminated picture sleeve in a VERY GOOD condition considering its age. There is some slight ring-wear noticeable, when tilted towards the light.The edges are still fairly strong. The back cover has more ring-wear, which has left a prominent circle pattern in the middle. There is the old custom of sticking a Purchase Tax stamp on the back cover.
Overall, it is a very presentable example of this rare 1950's Rock 'n' Roll / Rockabilly EP, which should be of interest to avid collectors.
