Title: Jack Teagarden with LaVere's Chicago Loopers

Description: Rare Original issue 45 rpm Extended Play (EP) album containing 4 selections by the great Jack Teagarden with Charles LaVere's Chicago Loopers recorded in Hollywood on 21 February 1950. The All Star Band personnel : Charles LaVere (pno), Jack Teagarden (tbn), Rico Vallese (cnt), Matty Matlock (clt), Jack Chaney (tnr), George Van Eps (gtr), Country Washburne (bs, tuba) and Nick Fatool (dms). This was a classic recording session! Also, it is one of the very few recorded performances by cornetist Rico Vallese who has a marvelous Bobby Hackett like tone. This disc is a collector's item!
2 of the tunes are previously unissued and this EP is the only issue on record of those specific takes. They are: "It's All in Your Mind" take (105-4) and "Love Lies" take (107-2). The other selections are "My Monday Date" take (108-1) and "Lover" take (106-1).
Disc Condition: Excellent Plus (E+) Green Vinyl
Album Cover - Very Good Plus+ due to top seam split of 3 inches. Otherwise the jacket is in Excellent condition.
