Jack & The Mods Don't Wake Me Up/The Jack Mod Kick Bamtown 50115
Recorded in 1972. Released 2005. Limited issue made all the rarer by the return of most copies to the pressing plant due to unacceptable warpage. Only around 100 copies were sold. This one has a slight warp that will not affect play using a standard turntable and tonearm. Don't Wake Me Up is a beautiful, sincere ballad that speaks of a better world and is perfect for the slow dance. There is a little noise in it's quiet intro (:07 seconds) that was on the original reel recording. After that it opens up with a fuller arrangement. The Jack Mod KIck is all open... loud and fast Funk.
Condition: Label has minor ringwear... overall playgrade = VG++.
