SPECIAL NOTES: Offered here is an astonishing example of late '50s lounge music, a new old store stock copy of "You're My Girl: Romantic Reflections by Jack Webb," the "Dragnet" star's spoken word album of romantic standards, recited to the lush backing of Billy May’s string and jazz orchestra, with solo trombone and alto sax by Billy McEachern. The concept and personnel alone should be enough to cause any self-respecting lounge music fan to sit up and take notice; add in cover artwork that captures Jack Webb as an archetypical late ‘50s swinging bachelor literally ensconced in a fully-appointed 1950s bachelor lounge, and you have nothing short of a space age exotica landmark.  And it’s a sure bet you won’t find a better example of this early release from the then-brand-new Warner Bros. Record label: a museum-quality old store stock copy of the record's rare stereo pressing: a slice of 1950s midcentury atomic age Americana, resplendent in its original, never-opened loose-fit Warner Bros. Records-branded shrink-wrap bag!  You'll need a time machine to find a better copy of this one!
