ORIGINALE und EXTREM RARE "Lazaretto" Vinyl ULTRA LP des detroiter Kult-Rock-Königs JACK WHITE als ERSTPRESSUNG auf THIRD MAN RECORDS, aus dem Jahr 2014. Die Auflage ist weltweit RESTLOS VERGRIFFEN und es steht noch in den Sternen ob es jemals eine 2. Auflage in dieser Form geben wird. Besser ranhalten!!! NEU und ORIGINAL verschweisst!!!
Nachdem Jack White mit den White Stripes, Deadweather, Solo und vielen weiteren Projekt soweit ausgesorgt hat, gibt er sich zuhause in Detroit der Endstufe des Musik-Nerdism hin. Seine neueste Idee nennt sich Ultra LP. Im Gegensatz zur normalen LP lautete das Motto bei dieser Vinyl: Alles, was mit dem Medium machbar ist, muss rein. Und zwar auf Teufel komm raus*. Nach Gesprächen mit den ausgefuchstesten Plattenstanzern der Welt präsentierte White das Ergebnis, das gleichzeitig auch Datenträger für sein neues Album Lazaretto ist. Hier die tricky Features in Kürze:
- Aus einer bestimmten Perspektive betrachtet erscheint das Hologramm eines Engels auf der Platte.
- Die Platte führt die Nadel von innen nach außen.
- Am Ende der Platte wird’s nicht still, stattdessen läuft der letzte Groove bis in alle Ewigkeit.
- Unter dem Papierlabel in der Mitte versteckt sich ein Hidden Track (der jetzt natürlich nicht mehr ganz so hidden ist.)
- Der erste Song auf der B-Seite hat ein akustisches und gleich auf der Rille daneben ein elektrisches Intro.
- Seite A glänzt, Seite B ist matt.

LAZARETTO ULTRA LP Over the past 5 years Jack & Third Man Records have brought to life many ideas that were new to the century-old vinyl format. Today they unveil the Lazaretto ULTRA LP:
- 180 gram vinyl - 2 vinyl-only hidden tracks hidden beneath the center labels - 1 hidden track plays at 78 RPM, one plays at 45 RPM, making this a 3-speed record - Side A plays from the outside in - Dual-groove technology: plays an electric or acoustic intro for “Just One Drink” depending on where needle is dropped. The grooves meet for the body of the song. - Matte finish on Side B, giving the appearance of an un-played 78 RPM record - Both sides end with locked grooves - Vinyl pressed in seldom-used flat-edged format - Dead wax area on Side A contains a hand-etched hologram by Tristan Duke of Infinity Light Science, the first of its kind on a vinyl record - Absolutely zero compression used during recording, mixing and mastering - Different running order from the CD/digital version - LP utilizes some mixes different from those used on CD and digital version
