OFF-THE-CHARTS RARE original SFTRI-619 TEST PRESSING of the White Stripes 4th single from 2000 on Sympathy For The Record Industry in the original sleeve with Jolene in Long Gone John's instantly recognizable handwriting!!! I have included photos of the matrix etchings on side 2 alongside the matrix etchings on my SFTRI stock copy and they are identical, from the curl of the 6 down to the tail on the end of the S at the bottom. Simply impossible to duplicate that precisely. This is a 100% guaranteed original genuine test pressing. A massive current and guaranteed future collectible. Consider Jack's place in the annals of music, on par with The Edge and Jimmy Page. Now consider what an early U2 or Zeppelin test pressing commands and you have some idea as to what the future holds for this disc. A spectacular piece of early White Stripes history. I collected The Stripes voraciously back in the 2000s and own some items to die for but this is undoubtedly one of the crown jewels in my collection. This is what separates elite collectors from the novices. Disc is in gorgeous VG++/NM- condition. Don't sleep Jack White Stripes/Third Man collectors. It might be decades before another one surfaces.
