Jackie Brenston and his Delta Cats (with Ike Turner) Chess 1469 My Real Gone Rocket / Tuckered Out Recorded in 1951 (by Sam Phillips, prior to the founding of Sun Records)
See photos for condition. Excellent early rock 'n' roll tunes, that signature sound of the day's hit-makers. The band is essentially Ike Turner's outfit. The record is in gorgeous shape, quite clean, a strong player. 'My Real Gone Rocket' is the sequel to Brenston's prior hit called 'Rocket 88' also recorded by Sam Phillips of Sun Records fame. This record, Chess 1469, sold fewer copies than 'Rocket 88' which may make it even more rare. Don't miss it.
