Description

Lovely copy of the 1956 Jackie Gleason Christmas LP, Merry Christmas, on Capitol W-758. Rainbow label pressing. Of all the many records TV star Jackie Gleason made in the mid-to-late 50s this one really has the most interesting arrangements and the widest range of dynamic and tone, if that doesn’t sound too pretentious. Anyhow it’s a good one. And a great copy. The disc is just beautiful and plays very near flawlessly. There are a few superficial scuffs but they do not have any affect on the sound. Really it plays just about perfectly all the way through. Very very light crackle between a couple of tracks but barely at all. The cover is lovely as well, with only very light signs of use and age. Really a top, gorgeous copy. Hard to beat.
