This is the original deep-groove RVG-stamped “P”-pressing of Jackie McLean “Jackie’s Bag” on the West 63rd labels of Blue Note (BLP 4051) in fantastic condition.
Personnel includes Tina Brooks, Donald Byrd, Blue Mitchell, Sonny Clark, and Paul Chambers.
Vinyl is EX+ (heavy, flat, glossy vinyl, labels clean and bright with Deep Groove, faint non-feelable sleeve scuff and faint feathering from contact with inner sleeve, does not affect play)
Front Cover is NM (SHARP! unusually vibrant color with no fading! clean and bright, shiny gloss, no seam splitting, no writing, no ring wear; just a minor edge bump upper left and lower right corners, small bump on lower right side - SEE PICS)
Back cover is EX++ (NM condition except for faint water mark about 3/4" x 1/8" in lower left corner - SEE PICS)
There's a bubble in the paper in bottom center of back cover that is an original printing artifact, not including that in grade as it's "as issued from factory".
A very clean copy of a highly collectible record.
This record is from the estate of a West Coast DJ and lifetime jazz record collector. In his latter years, he became a hoarder of clothing, which was piled in front of his record racks... leaving the records buried, protected from sunlight (and use) for decades. As such, the records in this collection remain uniquely well preserved.

Record Grading:
SS (Still Sealed) - In factory-fresh condition. M (Mint) - I don't use this grade. NM (Near Mint) - A near perfect, probably unplayed record. EX (Excellent) - Close to like new with only superficial signs of use that dont affect play. Only well cared for records will grade out to EX. Will satisfy all but the most demanding collector. VG (Very Good) - A used, reasonable copy. There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility of light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice. VG (Very Good Minus) - Significant wear and marks and usually quite noticeable surface noise. G+ (Good Plus) - In the record world, 'Good' is not good! From here on down (Fair, Poor), we're talking about beat-up records. Shipping Info:
