Description
Jackie McClean Blue Note album #BLP 4024 which is I assume hi-fi mono. High fidelity is printed on the back jacket. I have just played both sides previous to this auction. Condition of this original album seems very good + to excellent +. I will just give you my description so you can determine what the grade should be. Both sides play through nicely with minimal surface noise. I mainly notice a little between the songs and in the trailoff area if at all. Wax is glossy. In the trail off wax area is RVG on each side. Then on side one and two is a long number in that area. On side two following the long number in the trail off wax area is 9M. I do not see any ear or nose or eye in the wax. Label is very nice and photos of each side are shown. On label is--- Blue Note Records Inc. 47 West 63rd NYC. Also featured is Walter Bishop Jr., Jimmy Garrison, and Art Taylor. Photos of front and back of jacket are shown. Back of jacket and corners of jacket show a little wear. Lower corner of original blue note paper sleeve is wrinkled, sleeve is somewhat discolored, but is nice otherwise. Front of album jacket is very nice.
