Description
Jackie Ross, "Full Bloom", very rare original 1966 U.S. LP on Chess LP-1489 mono. Tracks : selfish one / everything but love / wasting time / i had a talk with my man / be suree you know / summertime / i've got the skill / change your ways / don't take my love / haste makes waste / (i wanna hear it) from you / misty. First two tracks are the a and b sides of her rare debut 1964 single on Pye International. Sleeve will grade Vg. Main issues are age grime / handling to the rear, along l/h front edge parallel with spine is rippled slightly (see photo). No expert but looking at the rear spine edge also (spine is legible), would think as early US sleeves were a cardboard inner with a pasted on "slick", at some point the sleeve has come unglued at this edge and has been reglued. However, it is solid with no rubs / splits or tears, small sticker top l/h front (see photo). Disc is a visual Ex, there is some light static but this is mainly confined to inbetween tracks, plays well. There are other copies of this LP on Ebay with a similar picture of Jackie facing the other way and the disc on a blue label. They are later issues, this is an original.
