Jackson Browne released his second album "For Everyman" in October 1973 on Asylum Records. Among the special guests on the album are Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Bonnie Raitt, Joni Mitchell, David Lindley, Bill Payne, David Crosby, and Jim Keltner. "Red Neck Friend" was a hit single from the album that features Elton John on piano but he is credited as Rockaday Johnnie.

This copy (SD 5067) is from the first pressing and is in near mint condition. The unique die-cut outer and inner sleeves are in pristine condition and easily grade VG+. Please see the pictures. The disc test plays cleanly and is also VG+ which is as high as I go on vintage vinyl. It was mastered by Doug Sax at The Mastering Lab in Los Angeles and was pressed at the Columbia Records plant in Santa Maria, Calif. The dead wax on Side 1 is etched S\ SD 5067 A A5.

In addition to its original packaging, this album will come with a high quality Anti-Static Round Bottom Inner Sleeve to hold the vinyl disc and a sturdy 3 mil. polyethylene Archival Quality Outer Sleeve.

This vintage 12" vinyl album has been sitting upright on a shelf in climate controlled storage for the past 48 years. It has not been played in decades other than a quick test spin for this sale which found no skips or obvious flaws. Like all used records it should be cleaned and wiped with an anti-static brush to minimize the occasional pops that are part of playing vinyl albums. Buyers should note that this is a well-cared for but used record and it will have some minor imperfections.
