TOP RANKING 7" JA, matrix: DSR 184/185 A: JACOB MILLER STANDING FIRM IN BABYLON (One of Killer Miller's most classic chunes...on the "Take Five"-riddim...roots & culture ina the area...a booooomshot and definetely not to be missed...original press from - I suppose - around 1978!) B: FAT MAN RIDIM SECTION STRAIGHT TO THE VAMPIRE'S HEAD (Killer dub-wize sounds!) ORIGINAL PRESS (NOT A RE-PRESS) FEATURE: NATTY CHASE THE BARBER WAX'N'SOUND: ex / ex, both sides look simply great with hardly any surface marks, plays fantastically musically beautifully w/ top punch and excellent sound...straight to Babylon head! LABEL: A-sides shows hardly any wear (a bit of wear on the B-side), NO writings, NO damages, nearly perfectly perfect - watch the scan, please! Something 'bout Sound + Vision: We shouldn't rely on visual appearance alone (as pretty looks isn’t all as they say) - therefore these records are graded after their visual appearance and their sound quality! I personally prefer a record with crackling but strong sound + punch to one playing clean but with surface noise from the pressing (as we find with re-pressed discs - too - often). Grading records is a very subjective thing but I try hard to be objective as a human being can be (yes indeed, this seller is a human being). THIS IS MY VINYL GRADING SCALE: EX (= really great - EX means "excellent", really...) VG (= nice, if you don't have an excellent one - by the way: VG means "very good"...) G (= playable, but you might find a better one - G means "good", but this term may be a bit euphemistic to reggae-vinyl-novices. Be realistic: a record graded G doesn't jump nor stick, but that's the best I can say about it...)
