Description
Reputedly du Pre's final recording. Released in 1980. With Daniel Barenboim she narrates Prokofiev's Peter & the Wolf. With the English Chamber Orchestra. Side 2 is Leopold Mozart's Toy Symphony.
West German pressing.
In Very Good Plus to Excellent condition . Some light surface noise noticeable in the quieter passages and unaccompanied narrative. An occasional faint tick, with approximately 12 seconds of a faint repeat tick. No scratches, lovely sheen and 2 to 3 light spindle marks.A few non sounding marks.
Side 2 ( Toy Symphony) again has some minimal surface noise , 6 louder ticks and 2 clicks.
Sleeve - Excellent. No marks. Clean opening edge. A hint of ringwear.
