JADE AND SARSAPARILLA -- Same -- hard to find, original 1976 Private Press U.S. album by female duo (Janet Hood and Linda Langford) with groovy 1970's Rock moves in the Carole King/Delaney & Bonnie vein with Blues-Rock overtones and powerful Feminist/Lesbian-themed lyrics. Tracks: She's That Kind of Woman, Gimme a Pigfoot, Daytime, Talkin', I Need a Drink of Water In My Mind, cover of It's Gonna Take a Miracle, I Can't Stay I Can't Go, I'd Like To Be. Cover: VG-, heavy wear on upper left third of spine, price sticker at upper right of front, name "Mertz" written in ballpoint pen on upper middle right, wear at corners.
