Description
Here for auction is a very special copy of "Last Autumn`s Dream" the third Lp by JADE WARRIOR and released in 1972 on the famous prog-label "SWIRL-VERTIGO". This here is the U.K.ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING with catnumber 6360 079 and stamped matrix number`s 1 Y // 4-420 / 2 Y // 4-420.
The LP is in stunning near mint condition which is hardly surprising as it has only been played one or two times [one of these when i play tested it]. The plastic is still in the hole which goes to show how few times this has been played-see photos.
The vinyl has an excellent+++ sheen and only under the strongest light can the faintest superficail marks be seen where the Lp has been removed from its sleeve. Overall i would grade as in near mint condition.
The audio is superb, quite simply it sounds stunning. I have listened to the whole Lp and it is hard to believe that it is 37 years old. Overall i would grade as near mint Audio.
The Swirly labels are in Mint Condition.
The gatefold sleeve is also in superb condition . There is some minor storage wear to the corners and a small mark at the top of the spine. There is a small area of discolouring at the top of the gatefold[ see photo's]. The gatefold looks great when it is opened and overall i would grade the sleeve as Excellent+.
A superb record in superb condition. I use the Record Collector guide to grade my records-see below
The Lp will be sent in professional mailers and will be sent special delivery in the Uk at a cost of £3.50. The cost of postage in Europe is £8 which includes as mandatory insurance and singned for delivery. I am really sorry but i will not ship to Russia due to problems experienced in the past and anyone bidding who does not have feedback will have their bid cancelled straight away. I am very sorry about this but again this is due to problems experienced in the past. Anyone without feedback and who wants to bid please contact me first.
Grading:- MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
