EX/EX+ condition copy of the stupidly rare (500 only) debut JADIS LP. Released in early 1990, during a brief hiatus and line-up change, this compiles the STEVE ROTHERY produced mid eighties cassette releases, plus a side of ROTHERY/JOHN ACOCK produced demos. Naive charm ? Yup. Lo-fi feel ? Budget constraints, mate. Priceless compendium of a seminal prog bands early work ? Without a doubt ! Track listing is : Side One "THIS CHANGING FACE", "FOLLOW ME TO SALZBURG", "SCRATCHING THE SURFACE" and "TAKING YOUR TIME" / Side Two "G13", "OUT OF REACH", "DON'T KEEP ME WAITING" and "IN THE DARK". All different versions to anything released since. This copy is not only numbered (105/500) but is also SIGNED by all five members of JADIS to appear on this record, AND by executive producer STEVE ROTHERY who contributes sleevenotes on the back cover !!! Released on a tiny Milton Keynes indie label BACKBEAT (BB004/12), it is, as far as I know, the only time JADIS have ever appeared on vinyl. Totally beautiful and official item, very rarely seen for sale. All proceeds will go towards an O.C. memorial drink up.
