"Modular synth artist Arushi Jain - formerly known as OSE - has studied Hindustani classical music so brings plenty of that to her own music. It comes imbued with huge emotions and a real sense of spatial grandeur from the rumbling drones, expansive atmospherics and her own sonorous vocals which are almost like an extra instrument in themselves. Many tunes are based around melodic frameworks known as raags or ragas, which bring a peaceful and looping minimalism. This sophomore album for Los Angeles' Leaving Records is one of the year's best so far."
