This week an interesting selection of psych, acid folk, and novelty LPs. From the sublime to the ridiculous, from the "holy grail" rare to the commonplace. JAKE HOLMES/ The Above Ground Sound of. Tower ST 5079. Orig. US 1968 pressing. Cover is NM, still in shrinkwrap, small cut-out notch in upper right at LP opening (sticker tear is on outside of shrink); LP is NM. Here's a pristine copy of an LP that defines mind bending acid folk. Strange mix, mumbled vocals, distorted electric guitar amid the primarily acoustic sound of the LP. Has the song Dazed and Confused that was purloined by Led Zeppelin on their first LP. Beautiful one here. TERMS OF SALE--PLEASE READ CAREFULLY TO AVOID MISUNDERSTANDING.
