Condition Gradings (according to 'Record Collector' definitions):

Mint (M): The disc itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent (Ex):The disc shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

Very Good (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Good (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

Fair: (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents may be torn, stained and / or defaced.

Conditions are in form of sleeve / Disc - for example Ex/M means that sleeve = Excellent / Disc = Mint.

If there is only one condition listed - it usually means there was no picture sleeve issued with vinyl, just a plain blank sleeve.

Additional Information:

All of my records are from my own personal collection, amassed from over 25 years of blood, sweat, tears and some serious crate-digging. I can personally guarantee the validity of all my stock, including date of purchase, originality of pressing, re-issues etc.

I have been a professional DJ (and self confessed vinyl junkie) for many years – so some of my music is well used, whilst a whole heap of it is basically untouched and as new – a lot of it was simply an ‘impulse purchase’ to add to the specific artist collection/genre I was passionate about at that time. All of my records have been consistently stored in my record room/studio and stacked within professional MDF ‘cubes’, especially made by ‘Spyder Box’ (as used by the BBC) to maintain the best possible condition.

The majority of my records will be in either ‘Mint’ or ‘Excellent’ condition – however I will be selling some vinyl that I used to play out regularly. I will be very honest about these items as I see no point in deceiving anyone about the incorrect condition of any of my collection.

Postage Costs & Information:

UK orders are sent via Royal Mail 1st Class. For UK 'Recorded Mail' postage please add 95p to postage total.

International orders are sent via Royal Mail Airmail. For overseas 'registered' mail insurance please contact for a specific quotation.

All records will be packaged in top quality cardboard record mailers with added record stiffener for extra protection. Larger/bulk orders are boxed (using special record 'cruciform' mailers).

We expect contact and/or payment is due within 48 hours of end of auction.

Double LP/12" packs counts as 2 x Vinyl for Postage (i.e, 1st item & Additional item cost) - see postage table above for more information).

Postage discounts/combined shipping available for additional items purchased - I will also look into separate courier service for larger/bulk purchases to help with postage costs.

Certificate of Postage receipts are obtained for every order sent. I always advise on additional postage insurance where possible to ensure safe and speedy arrival for you.
