This listing is for a Jamal Plays Jamal 1974 20th Century Records vinyl record. Right off the bat I want to state that I am not an audiophile or knowledgeable enough about records to put any kind of grading on it so I will list what I see and I have included detailed pics to fill in the gaps.
Starting with the cardboard cover/jacket: I don't see an tears or flaws. It has a plastic cover over it and that plastic cover has some wear but has done a good job protecting the cardboard. The plastic has a residue of the a price sticker. One of the corners of the cardboard has a little bend to it.
Second there is an inside paper sleeve: The sleeve has some discolorations and some tearing of the edges. It also has some creasing in the corners.
Finally, the record itself: I don't see any deep scratches. I see some "streaking" or lighter color in the dark vinyl but it appears to be in the vinyl itself as opposed to scratches. The paper labels are nice and clear on both sides.
Side 1 has three different combinations of markings. The first sequence appears to be as follows: \ M- 459-AS 1B. About an inch away from that is the second sequence which appears to be: AZ and a small design that looks like a four petal flower. The final markings appear to be: A1 Side 2 appears to have: \ M-459-BS 1B. The second series of marks appears to be: AZ with the same small four petal flower.
