JAMES BROWN AND HIS FAMOUS FLAMES “PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE” KING Records -  (U.S.)

THIS LP is extremely rare but is and was definitely a "PARTY" record.

This lp Grades:   Cover/G to G+ and Vinyl/G to G+

This lp is still extremely hard to find and does play through...though it really struggles through at least 3 of the sixteen tracks.  That's the GOOD news.

The bad news is that the record is very noisy on both sides.  Plenty of lines and scratches/scuffs though more on side two.  I use very good speakers

and have a very discerning ear and I would not be pleased to own this unless I was a collector.  As mentioned, 3 tracks audibly struggle more than the

others the needle jumps here and there on those tracks though no skipping.  The lp sleeve is also a disappointment, a name in marker front of lp/top right

corner and names on the back on top (see photos), the top edge is open all the way and the bottom is basically the same.

the labels have some discoloration but are decent condition.

LPs are graded visually and conservatively under many bright lights. Questionable marks are play graded.

( S ) SEALED = VINYL assumed mint, never open.

( M ) MINT = VINYL absolutely perfect in every way, never played.

( NM ) NEAR MINT = VINYL nearly perfect, no obvious signs of wear. COVER should have no creases, folds, seam splits, cut-out holes.

( VG+ ) VERY GOOD PLUS = VINYL may have scuff marks , very light scratches and signs of some wear but will still play almost perfectly, with only barely detectable crackles or pops; a slight noise at the beginning is allowable. COVER may only have the slightest signs of normal wear.

( VG ) VERY GOOD = VINYL has light scratches, may crackle, pop or make other annoying noises, but only occasionally, and no more loudly than the music. COVER has normal wear such a ring wear and split seams.

( G ) GOOD  = VINYL has scratches, may have continuous crackles, pops, significant surface noise. COVER has more than normal wear and tear.

( P ) POOR = VINYL is cracked, badly warped, and won't play through without skipping or repeating. COVER barely keeps the lp inside.
