Description
This is the James Brown vinyl LP “I Got You (I Feel Good)” on the King Records label catalog number 946, mono, released in 1966. The King name on the label without a crown over it denotes that this is a 1st pressing of the recording as listed in Goldmine.
All records that I have for sale are from my personal collection and were purchased new and played exclusively on a high end turntable.
This 50 year old record was pressed on extra thick vinyl. It is in excellent condition with some minor rub marks and a few small lines on the surface none of which can be felt. One of the marks causes 5 or 6 audible popping sounds on side 2 at the very end of song 5 into the first few seconds of song 6 otherwise the record sounds great with minimal stylus on vinyl sounds and occasional minor clicking heard mostly between songs. There are no skips.
Record labels are in excellent condition. The outer jacket has a small seam split on the bottom center and minor edge wear but all other seams are solid and the rest of the jacket is in excellent condition. The original shrink wrap is still attached with a tear at the bottom center exposing the above mentioned seam split (see pictures).
I will pack the record outside of the jacket to protect jacket integrity and ship in a sturdy LP mailer with cardboard inserts and bubble wrap for further protection.
Shipping to the USA will be via USPS Media Mail.
