I’m not sure WHY this single was sent out to radio, but clearly they were trying to stir up some airplay for JB’s new single, and some of his back catalogue too. I’m going to guess this release as being from early 1968, since it includes his tune “There Was A Time” even though the other songs are earlier.

Tracks on this RADIO ONLY EP are “Please, Please, Please” and “Try Me” paired with “Papa’s Got A Brand New Bag” and “There Was A Time.”

This is an EP, so the audio is recorded at about ½ the level of a normal record so it might sound noiser than a normal 45.

CONDITION: VG++ with some light marks but plays quite well.
