I was helping a neighbor clear out some junk and what do we find...? Several boxes of his large Blues / Soul / R&B record collection that he hasn't seen in years!

James Brown and his Famous Flames - "Please, Please, Please" - King 909 (K-12-909), is a mono black label LP released in 1958.
This album is still in the shrinkwrap with all seams intact. No tearing, wear, or even bulges in the cardboard on any seams. NO ringwear on sleeve/jacket or on the record label itself (see pictures). For a record that is 50+ years old, this thing looks like I could have bought it brand new yesterday (thank goodness he kept it out of sunlight and in boxes in the back of his closet!!) Record itself appears to be in excellent condition - no visible scratches, blemishes, or nicks. Clean, dark, thick, sturdy vinyl from back in the day.
It is so nice I would keep it for myself normally, but I already have 2000+ albums and focus my collecting efforts on 60's - 70's British rock.
