CALLING ALL JAMES BROWN COLLECTORS:
JAMES BROWN - SHOUT AND SHIMMY - KING 780 Cover has suffered some wear and tear, and unfortunately had previous sellotape repairs top and bottom. Vinyl is good condition and playable but has surface marks which do not affect play - please bear in mind the age of this, some crackles and pops will be present. Black KING label with lettering following the curvature of the label. Again, this shows how the US record industry marketed their records for black artists back in the day, with no picture of JB and his band, but instead two white 'hipsters' which was supposed to show the white buying public that this music was for them. Some may not have even known the band was black. Anyway, those days are gone, but this remains a rare cover in the JB collection.
