A PRO . . . all of these have been used time and time again to describe the appeal of JAMES BROWN.  One of the fastest rising young stars in the entertainment and record world James now holds many of the all time records in cities such as Neward, J.J., Pittsburgh, Pa., Nashville, Tenn., Toledo, Ohio, the famous Apollo Theatre in New York City, the Howard in Washington D.C. . . . the list can go on and on.

JAMES BROWN is far more than just a singer!  He is an accomplished musician and on his shows and record sessions plays the organ, drums, piano and bass.  James says his favourite instrument is the organ because this is more expressive and on most of the instrumental selections by his band, James is playing either the organ or drums.

JAMES BROWN, was born and raised in and around Macon, Georgia, but calls Augusta, Georgia, home.  He started his career with a gospel-spiritual group as have many of our other top singers of today, and then progressed into Rhythm and Blues and the Popular fields.  He has a new and exciting sound . . . a style that is his and his alone . . . and with his first big hit of several years ago “Please-Please-Please” (this was his first record and an immediate smash hit) he followed with one of the longest unbroken string of hit records in history, a few of which are “Try Me”, “Bewildered”, “Lost Someone”, “Shout and Shimmy”, “Good, Good, Lovin”, all of these vocals.  James travels with his own full band and complete show all over the North American Continent and wanted to do some instrumentals.  His first was “Hold It” the old Bill Doggett hit, and it caught on with his fans.  He followed this with another instrumental “Night Train” which is still one of the best selling instrumental records in the country, reaching well into the top of the best seller lists and Top 40.

This album is his latest, and includes a complete story and study in sound and style of the man . . . the personality . . . the one and only JAMES BROWN.  The title of the album was picked to describe James’ constant road tours “TOURIN’ THE U.S.A.” “

The LP is in Very Good Condition with just a few surface marks and surface scratches which don’t affect play

It plays Very Well

The Sleeve is in Very Good Condition with just a few tiny laminate creases and on the back there is a small sticker “The Disc Shop” stuck centre top

It has been kept in a plastic folder
