Description

Up for auction is a very rare/original MONO pressing of the "Try Me!" album by James Brown & The Famous Flames! This is the first pressing on KING (635) with the Gun/Smoke cover! This does not pop up very often at all!!
The front and back cover are in decent shape, definitely still worth displaying! Some dirt and aging on the front and back. There is masking tape on the top and bottom seams -- the bottom seam is split about halfway, top is fine. The spine is intact.
The vinyl has surface marks and scuffs, only one small that causes any kind of pops which is only on about half of a track. Background and some occasional crackling throughout, still a very much playable album! The vinyl label is in great shape and has the deep groove.
