Description
For auction is JAMES MOODY's "Wail Moody Wail", on Prestige PRLP 4063, MONO, 1956. This record has Deep Grooves both sides and RVG etched in dead wax. It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides complete. The sound is terrific. NO issues to report!
Visually, the vinyl is VG+ or better, with no flaws to report.
The sleeve is VG+ (probably better) with no flaws of note. It's clean, with solid seams and corners all around. has "not for sale" stamp on reverse. The photos are of the exact record up for bids. Look before you bid, ask if you want any additional info or pics. A very nice record and sleeve. No reserve, bidding starts at $30.
Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
