Description

Rare private gospel LP by James T. Johnson Mass Gospel Choir 'Children of the Lord'

Includes the participation of Jothan Callins (of Sun Ra fame) as bassist and executive producer. This is the only LP on Triumph that I know of other than Jothan's 'Winds of Change' masterpiece.

This is a lo-fi recording, but it is an amazing album. GREAT songs on here.

The vinyl is VG+ with a few very faint superficial scuffs that don't affect play. Since it is a quiet recording and has a lot of dynamics and space, there is some audible surface noise at various points in the playback, but it is minor and in no way overwhelming.

Cover is strong VG+ still mostly in original shrink wrap. Shrink has a few tears and holes as visible in the pictures.
