ORIGINAL UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE APPLE LABEL FROM 1968. APPLE SAPCOR 3. A/B-1-1. The record and the gatefold laminated flipback sleeve are in EX- condition. Has the "sold in the UK" reference on the label.

RELEASED DECEMBER 1968 JAMES TAYLORS SELF TITLED APPLE ALBUM WAS ORIGINALLY PLANNED TO BE CALLED "JAMES TAYLOR & SON" AND WAS THE FIRST APPLE ALBUM TO APPEAR IN A GATEFOLD SLEEVE.

TAYLOR WAS DISCOVERD BY PETER ASHER AND BOTH LATER LEFT APPLE TO PERSUR THEOR CAREERS ELSEWHERE.

PAUL MCCARTNEY APPEARS ON THIS ALBUM PLAYING BASS ON SOME TRACKS.
