A hilarious release from the KLF based on a sample of Isaac Hayes' outrageously funky Theme From Shaft, interspersed with Bill Drummond begging Whitney to join the J.A.M.'s, and Whitney's response lifted from I Wanna Dance With Somebody. An early example of how new technology could allow you to plunder pop's past to make new tunes, before Abba forced KLF to trash their album because of an uncleared sample.
The first releases of this have a blank (smooth) B-Side (i.e. no tone groove). There were only 500 of these original versions pressed. Both sides are labelled "bpm 120 Whitney joins the J.A.Ms" and nothing else. . These original 500 have a "generic" 12" sleeve
