Description

JAN & DEAN "CARNIVAL OF SOUND"  WB/RHINO RHM1-521997 (2010) 1 lp & 1 CD w/ booklet in an over-sized (12.75" x 12.75") gatefold style box.
This is the beautiful commemorative release of JAN & DEAN'S unissued album that was originally recorded in 1966. The original tracks were produced by JAN BERRY, but these tracks were sadly never released due to Jan's serious injuries from a major car accident in '66. Once Jan was ready to record and produce again, his process went very slowly due to his major injuries. The tapes eventually just sat in DEAN TORRENCE'S "Jan & Dean" archives. Discovered and post-produced by music wunderkind Andrew Sandoval, this record was created from pre-accident and post-accident tracks. It's an amazing record that is, in fact, a CARNIVAL OF SOUND. The grading of the LP, the CD and the jacket package is EXCELLENT/MINT. It is like new! I am liquidating my extensive JAN & DEAN collection due to medical issues. BUY THIS BOX SET TODAY, before it vanishes. IT's a hrd one to find! And it's set at a great price....AND....we pick up the postage. That's a CARNIVAL!!
