Jan & Dino--It's A Shame / The Submarine Races--Liberty acetate, no #.  Original 1965 Jan And Dean acetate for Liberty Records.  The actual tracks were It's "A Shame To Say Goodbye" (from Folk 'N Roll) and "The Submarine Races" (from Ride The Wild Surf).  Liberty Records cancelled the release of this intended single; it had already been assigned a catalog number:  Liberty 55816.  Instead, "It's A Shame To Say Goodbye" was released as the B-side of their next single, I Found A Girl (Liberty 55833).    The playing surface is VG and the acetate plays well.  This is an 8" acetate with an extended intro area that many companies used, not a 7".  The labels are clean, but show some discoloration due to aging.  Note the typo on the A-side:  Jan & Dino!  Very rare and collectable 1965 acetate for a single that was never released by a major record company.  A soundclip will be included.  We combine shipping for multiple items purchased over a one-week through a 10-day period.  Please disregard the automatically-generated invoices from eBay and we'll invoice you for combined shipping.
