CONDITION
RECORD : VG+ (Let me explain why this stunning condition LP is strictly graded as VG+! In the early 70s.a few record companies thought it would be a novel idea to present an LP in a plastic liner instead of the usual paper sleeves. These plastic liners were attached to the sleeve and to stop the record falling out there was a thin foam strip at the opening edge. Invariably and almost unavoidably the record in storage would touch the foam strip which would then compress into the grooves at the edge of the record leaving a permanent mark. This LP is no exception, with a single patch about 3cm long and stretching about 6mm in to the grooves. When played there is some crackle when the stylus touches the patch, but there are no scratches and no jumps. Otherwise the LP has a few blemishes in the vinyl and some very light hairlines probably caused by sliding in and out of the plastic liner! The vinyl is in lovely condition with a nice sheen but does have a spot of background crackle.)
SLEEVE : EX+ (This is a laminated wraparound gatefold sleeve. Absolutely awesome condition for this delicate, thin card wraparound sleeve. Both front and back of the sleeve are in spectacular undamaged condition. No tears, no creases, totally flat and like the day it was in the shop.The fully readable spine is perfect, uncrushed, uncreased and totally undamaged. The inside of the gatefold is unlaminated and perfect. All edges are perfect, razor sharp with no damage at all.There is no writing or stickers on the record or the sleeve.A fantastic copy of this MEGA rare LP, rarely offered for sale. STRICTLY GRADED.)
