Description

Jan & Lorraine: "Gypsy People" 1969, USA/ABC 691. Disc is M-, it looks unplayed! Gatefold cover has a demo sticker and a demo stamp on the back, bottom center seam split on the pocket, and a couple of sticker pulls upper left front, one of which is inked-in. To me, the cover gets a Good grade in consideration of these flaws but most would call it EX. Mystery LP by two girls with Spike Drivers connections; the LP opens with the Spike Drivers' song "Break Out The Wine" (written by Richard Keelan) and the cover art was drawn by Connie Keelan. The LP was recorded in the UK, however... with some amazing session guys including tabla player Keshav Sathe (Magic Carpet) and drummer Clem Cattini. Pretty killer sound they've got, too.. if you can imagine a band like Ill Wind trying to sound more eastern/folky, you'll be on the right track. This is rare!
