This original 1969 "Je T'Aime" album comes in it's original outer cover, with inner paper One owner since the record was produced. This black vinyl album is visibly clean. There are scratch marks do to wear of this album, but is remains in very good condition for it's 45 year life span.  You can expect Photographs will show reflection of the camera and over head ceiling fan, possible bed linen lint may be seen in some of the images. 
The vinyl is in very good condition, no warping however because this album was played a lot between 1969 and 1970 you will hear typical vinyl pops and crackles occasionally. Which apparently can be removed by wood glue cleaning which I have seen on Youtube, but never done as I stopped playing vinyl records in 1972 upon moving to Europe.


NOTE THE OUTER COVER: There is reasonable wear on the outer covers, right side from removal and return of album its cover. However the cover itself is closed on all 3 sides. Cover  is in very good + visual condition. The inner sleeve is in excellent condition. Photographs will show reflection of the camera and over head ceiling fan lights, bedding lint in some of the images may be present. These are not smudges, or damage, they are reflections.

• Good _Vinyl will have many scratches/scuffs/smudges and might play with some pops & crackling in places but overall should be an enjoyable listen. Some groove wear might be evident and luster could be fading.

• Fair _ the vinyl will have a lot of scratches/scuffs/smudges and will play with static and popping. Some groove wear will be evident and luster will be fading.

HISTORY: "Je t'aime… moi non plus" (French for "I love you… me neither") is a French duet written by Serge Gainsbourg. It was written for and sung with Brigitte Bardot in 1967, but that version was not released until 1986. In 1969, Gainsbourg recorded a version with his lover, Jane Birkin. It reached number one in the UK, and number two in Ireland, but was banned in several countries owing to its sexual content. The song has been covered by many different artists.
The song was written for and recorded with Gainsbourg's girlfriend, Brigitte Bardot, in winter 1967. Bardot asked him to write the most beautiful love song he could imagine and that night he wrote "Je t'aime" and "Bonnie and Clyde". They recorded an arrangement of "Je t'aime" by Michel Colombier at a Paris studio in a two-hour session in a small glass booth; the engineer William Flageollet said there was "heavy petting". However, news of the recording reached the press and Bardot's husband, German businessman Gunter Sachs, was angry and called for the single to be withdrawn. Bardot pleaded with Gainsbourg not to release it, and although he protested that "The music is very pure. For the first time in my life, I write a love song and it's taken badly", he complied.
