JANE ?FIRE, WATER, EARTH & AIR? 1976 GATEFOLD SLEEVE VINYL LP IN STUNNING CONDITION!

 

Sleeve Condition: A little laminate lifting at the edges but no actual damage or peeling.  Ex+ overall.

 

Record Condition:  Another stunning, practically unplayed (I have test played it but it?s almost certainly unplayed until then) Near Mint condition LP.  Most would list as Mint and they really don?t come in any better condition than this.

 

By 1976, Jane wisely decided to return to progressive rock again with the successful concept-album "Fire, Water, Earth & Air". The music was much more symphonic than earlier, and drenched in spacey, atmospheric string-synths. Klaus Hess had taken over all the vocals, and both his voice and guitar-style sounded now strongly influenced by Pink Floyd.

 

Most of the songs floated seamlessly together, and created a nice flow of pleasant and atmospheric progressive rock of the kind you can drift along to.  The synth-sounds couldn't have been more tasty, spacey, atmospheric and typical German-sounding. Fans of Pink Floyd and spacey symphonic progressive rock in general will undoubtedly enjoy this album.
