This is a pretty scarce PICTURE DISC of Porno For Pyro's 12" Single release for their hit "Pets", from Janes Addiction's singer Perry Ferrell's side project in the 90's (come on Perry, we need a new one!). The debut has yet to be re-released in the US, and this is a bit of rarity for several reasons: it's a UK limited #'d copy (#5571), a very cool double sided picture disc, and it includes two versions of songs not released on the 1993 release ("Pets" Radio Edit" and a medley combining the two songs "Cursed Male" and "Cursed Female" into one track, along with the song "Tonight", which was only released on Perry Ferrell's 1999 compilation "Rev", that included Jane's Addiction and Porno For Pyro tunes. It does also include the LP version of "Pets". This is wrapped in the original thick clear plastic cover with a small "Made In The UK" sticker, and does have a small amount of sticker residue at the opening, though most is cleaned off. The single page insert is the album cover on one side, and the song listing on the other, and has a small promo saw mark through the UPC. The LP is very nice, very clean, and is an awesome photo on both sides of the disc. This comes with the ORIGINAL PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL from Warner Brothers Records in a nice folder, with a one sheet two page history of the band (some funny stuff), and a very good clean photograph of the band. Promotional materials are disappearing in paper form, so this is a VERY rare piece to go along with a scarce disc, all in great shape.
